Privacy information.
PEER can be used as a guest. This notice explains the principal data paths so you can make informed choices.
On-device information
Local profiles, preferences, history, watchlists, downloads and caches are stored on your device unless you choose account sync, export or a connected provider. Local data and temporary caches can be cleared in PEER.
Optional account sync
If you create an account and enable sync, selected profile snapshots and account information are sent to PEER’s configured Supabase and Cloudflare infrastructure to authenticate you, synchronise chosen data, protect the service and operate device login. Account settings provide device and deletion controls.
Add-ons and playback providers
When you use a provider, it receives the information technically required for the request, potentially including your IP address, media identifier, request headers, browser or device information and timing. Independent providers have their own privacy practices. Removing or disabling an add-on stops future requests from PEER to it.
Your choices and rights
You can remain a guest, choose which profiles sync, disable credential sync, disconnect services, remove add-ons and request account deletion. UK data-protection rights can include access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability depending on the circumstances.
